UJAS advocates for all Pakistani minorities, primarily Hindu-Pakistanis living in India. After fleeing Pakistan with either a tourist or pilgrim visa, these refugees reside in settlements around the border and throughout Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh.
The conditions of each settlement vary based on location and resources. Some are equipped with electricity, running water, and access to education, while others are not.
This table shows the number of settlements (also referred to as "villages") in various districs of Rajasthan. The list was compiled in 2005, so the data does not include the increasing number of refugees who have settled in Rajasthan post-2005.
